In my Asian Politics class, we have to write a 10-15 page analytical research paper. We can pick our own topic, but that's the problem -- I have no idea what to write about. I would like it to involve Japan, but beyond that I'm at a loss.

So, I'm practically begging for suggestions, here. The topic is supposed to be somewhat specific, but it can be about pretty much anything as long as it somehow relates to politics in Asia. Of course, it has to be something I can find enough previous research on to write 10 pages about.

Look, I'll even bribe you -- if someone has an idea I can use, I'll write or draw you something. I'm not promising anything spectacular, but it'll be something, at least.

...Help? Please? ♥

Actually, that probably would be really interesting...but I don't know how much information I could find about it in academic journals, which is where we're supposed to be getting the majority of our research.

Also, later in the semester we have to do presentations about our papers, and I think that topic might garner me a little more attention than I'm comfortable with... (I will readily admit that I'm a sissy when it comes to things like standing up in front of a group of people.)

But thanks for the suggestion! :) I might actually do some "independent research" about that, because I am interested now...
