I just. These boys.
Sep. 25th, 2011 11:43 pmI am in love with this show. Totally, completely in love with this show.
So I've been writing this fic, and I'm like halfway done with it and I know what's going to happen for the rest. There was a new episode of BTR on last night, and when I found out what the episode was about I was a little worried it might clash with what I have planned for the fic.
But I kept telling myself that this is BTR, so even if I had to change things a little it wouldn't completely screw up my ideas for the characters.
Not quite finished with the episode, but so far not only has it completely reinforced basically everything I thought about the characters (because that's what this show does, shows you over and over that they really do know these characters and so everything each one does makes sense), it has actually added a new depth to the fic. Because I can totally see this episode happening after what I've already written and it still making complete sense.
Unless something drastic happens in the last 6 minutes. And since at least 2 minutes of that is a music video I don't see that happening.
Because this show is amazing and perfect and Logan is in drag again.
ETA: Okay, so they played him off as a guy with weird hair. But THE WIG. That wig was the sole reason he wanted to make out with his ex-girlfriend. He liked her in the wig. Without the wig, no interest. AND SHE MADE HIM WEAR THE WIG.
Also:
Carlos: You can't date both of us at the same time!
Rocker chick: Yes I can.
James: Uh, no, we agreed--that's weird. (aside to Carlos) We agreed that's weird, right?
Carlos: Yes!
Moral of this exchange? ...I'm not really sure. Something about James not caring if he shares a girl with Carlos. But what makes it better is that to James, dating both of them at the same time would probably be just that--going on dates with both of them. Simultaneously. As in, three people. This is actually something that to me seems completely believable for James to think. And be okay with, especially if it's Carlos. (Kendall not so much, Logan...well. That would get into my shipping tendencies ;))
