Last semeseter, I took a *pnish* photobook -- I think it was just the first one -- into Japanese class one day, and got the opinions of the other three girls in the class over who was the best-looking. They answered (I think it was two votes for MoriEiji, one for Wasshi?), and then someone asked me who I thought was -- I of course pointed to Tuti. And got at least one weird look.

....

Yeah, just a short anecdote to preclude my reiteration that Tuti is The Hottest Man In The World, and also that I can't even begin to articulate why.

...But I'll try anyway.

It's his facial expressions. It's the way he moves. The way he stands. It's how he can wear crazy, ugly clothing but it always just fits him so well that you readily ignore the horrid pattern. It's how he dances. How, even when he's following the same steps as everyone else, you don't have to see his face to know it's him. It's how he stands out, all the time. How his voice carries. His laugh. It's how he gets so into everything he does. And how he makes it all seem so natural.

...I watched On Vol. 2 again today, which is more or less where this is all coming from. :D

I really like sleeveless shirts on guys. Really really. Whoever decided he should wear that has my gratitude.

Gah. Tuti. ♥

*shakes head* Okay, switching subjects. I watched the first episode of Gekirangers today~! Just like I thought, it's perfect for Zukki. He's so cute and silly and fanboyish in it. ♥ And it's, obviously, a silly, ridiculous show -- totally my new feel-good show. ♥ I haven't had one since Host Club ended.

....And I just read about Daiki's grandma. So now I'm sad. :( Poor Daiki...

When it comes to Tuti he's the kind of guy that can't be all bottled up in a single image in order to be properly appreciated. With someone like Nagayan who has that beautiful, photogenic face, people admire it immediately and think he's absolutely amazing. I agree that he is, but his utterly dorky personality makes up a good counter-balance to such devastating good looks. Tuti however is the kind of guy that needs to be seen in action in order to be loved. Some photos he looks amazing in too but he's one of those guys who's personality makes him appear even more beautiful than he does at first glance. Those smiles, his laughter, the way his body moves, it's incredible how it much it gives him life and makes him ten times larger than he seems at first glance. It's a special gift, really ^_^

And yeah, Daiki's grandma, we're all in sniffles here too :(

Yes. On all counts. Haha, I didn't even mention his personality, did I? Well, not directly, at least. Shows where my mind was, after staring at the screen watching him dance. Sorry, Tuti~ ♥ And actually, it wasn't even until I started reading his blog translations and got to see that personality that I started finding him attractive. Now I wonder what in the world was wrong with me to not have noticed it before.

Daiki. :( I want to bake him cookies, or something.

So much win for this post. I don't know why, but I cannot explain why Tuti is so. fucking. hot. I would rather see a photoset of him than anyone else, rather see video of him than anyone else, rather read his blog than anyone else's, it's horrifying.

I think how hot he is can only best be summed up in a series of keyboard smashes, really.

^__^ His blog was really what caught my attention! That and seeing him goofing around in the backstages. But no, his posts are sometimes so thoughtful, and insightful, and random... ^_^ It's the best. I can't thank you enough for the work you do, translating them for us. We're so lucky!

Tuti is just sort of indescribable in general, I think. So yes. Keyboard smashes. The fangirl cure-all. :D

^___^ Yeah, people who haven't seen Tuti in action would never understand. To look at a picture, it doesn't say it all; it's so much more than an appearance thing. Everything about him makes him attractive. *waves her hands about* I managed to get my bittorrent to work long enough to d/l *pnish* on 4, and when he comments in the backstage about that SHIRT he wears in the host club sketch- where he says that it's "busy"- I about died. Cutest thing EVAH! ^__^

And I keep hearing about this Gekirangers thing! What is it? I'm curious.

i-i And I do feel badly for Daiki, too. Poor guy.

Yep. ♥ Oh, Tuti~

Gah. Seeing two *pnish* performances has just made me long for more. Stupid bittorrent-blocking school firewall...*grumbles*

Gekirangers is, from what I understand, the newest in the Power Rangers series. Uh...here, I'll look it up on Wikipedia. :D Link~ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gekiranger) Um, but basically all you need to know is that it has Zukki as the main good guy and Araki as the main bad guy. And the newest Momo's twin brother as another good guy. If you know anything about Power Rangers, then you'll know the kind of silly story and special effects that are in the series. And if you like Zukki or Araki, you won't care. :D (Especially since Zukki spends the majority of the first episode shirtless. And fanboying. Yay Zukki. ♥)

Squee! ^__^ I always loved Power Rangers... I might have to look that up! ^__^

And can I just say, while I'm being silly, that Araki does, somehow, make a rather spectacular bad-guy? ^^;; I think he just manages to look like he's up to no good, somehow...

Heehee, it's all that training as Inui! Inui was never up to any good, either. ♥

But yeah, I think Araki's role is perfect for him, too. And whenever I see him in costume, I just get the impression that he really thinks he's the awesomest thing ever. It amuses me. :D (I also have a feeling Zukki wasn't helping any -- I can totally see him saying "Araki, you look so cooool~~!" ♥)

I dunno if you're a member of [livejournal.com profile] d_boys, but there's a friends-locked post a couple of posts down with the episode. Also, there's apparently a group that fansubs each of these series, and from what I've heard they're going to sub Gekirangers as well. Dunno when the first episode will be done, though.

Why, hi here, welcome to the Tuti Worship Like Woah Club ! :D
If there was only one man I should care about in Japan, it would be him. And it's already kinda him anyway XD

jmqlkfjds forgot to fangirl about something.

That moment in On2 when he wins that silly game *_*; You know, he's all happy and suddenly break dances while the stage darken except for the spotlight on him.

Well, IT KILLS ME. *drools*
And only for THAT moment, On2 is my favourite *pnish* performance XD
(okay also for Doraemon) (did you notice he can make Doraemon sexy ? 8D)

...I went back and watched that part again, just to refresh my memory.

Um. Yeah. That's a nice dance. How can he move like that??

And yes, I did notice. :D

And it's not just because we're predisposed and biased in favor of Oishi, no. I'm so glad I'm not alone in thinking that Tuti is STILL THE Hottest Man In The World, although admittedly Takki comes a very very very close second.

There's no other word to describe Tuti other than by his name. It's like he's so many contradicting adjectives all at the same time, which is really the best way to define a guy as unpredictable as he is. (And I'd elaborate more, but I've got class in two minutes and it takes me TEN to get there.)

And Zukki is, well, Zukki. ^___________________^ *fangirls*
