Three guesses what this post is about...

And the first two don't count. Nacchi, I haven't forgotten about the meme you tagged me for! I'll get to it, I promise ♥
Setomaru said on his blog that he's really nervous about this TeniMyu run, much more than he normally is, and he "wonders why." On the fourth day of performances he was still talking about how nervous he was.
I wonder why, too. And I really wish there was some way I could tell him not to worry. :( He mentioned, for the first time ever, the fanletters and presents he's been getting at the shows (and thanked people for them -- I'd say Tomo has definitely been having an effect on him), and said how much they encouraged him. I want to be encouraging him, too. I hate that I didn't write that letter like I intended to.
Buuuuut anyway. His latest entry amused me, because he was complaining about the heat, which is what I was doing all day. It also has a lovely, lovely picture of him -- I don't think I've ever seen him with his hair looking wet like that, and I must say I rather like it -- even if he is wearing a shirt with dancing beer bottles that looks like it says "HAPPYLAND." And he's underage. I wonder if his mother reads his blog.
As lovely as that picture is, though, the entry before that has my favorite picture he's posted in a long, long time. I don't know exactly why I like it so much....but I do. ♥
Looking at both of those pictures, he seems to be wearing a silver ring on each pinky finger. Maybe he's alternating on different days, or something. I can't tell if it's the same ring or not...
Today I finally got the poster out of my photobook. It was nervewracking. :( I don't know why they don't just make those things perforated, it's like they want to give us a heart attack trying to cut them out. But I succeeded eventually, although I made a barely-noticable cut on Setomaru's hair, and the other side of the poster, the Prince Trio pic, got a little messed up, but I don't care because it'll be facing the wall anyway. My mom's going to laminate that and a couple of magazine posters for me, and then I'll get to finally hang them up~ I've missed having Setomaru on my wall at home.
And finally....I saw his RikkaiMyu 2 photoset. It's probably his best set so far, and I want it So. Very. Badly.
And so concludes this edition of Babbling About Setomaru. ♥

Date: 2007-08-06 06:48 am (UTC)I've made many, many attempts to get Araki's poster out of his photobook but I'm so scared I'll damage the poster and/or the book that I haven't really tried very hard. They really should have perforated it. :|
I bet the RikkaiMyu photosets will be up on Y!Japan Auctions before too long. Or I can see if they have it at K-Books, if you'd like. That'd possibly be cheaper.

Date: 2007-08-08 04:24 am (UTC)I wanted the poster on my wall badly enough to risk it. It didn't exactly come out cleanly, but I actually managed to not damage the page behind it at all, so I was happy. But yeah, if would have been nice of them to make it perforated, the jerks.
I've sworn off Y!J Auctions, at least until I have a steady source of income. The fees and shipping are just ridiculous. :( And I don't want to ask you to go out of your way, but if you happen to be in K-Books and happen to see it and happen to feel like it....I would be very very grateful. ♥ Speaking of, I still owe you for that Kaji photoset; did you ever get your Paypal worked out?

Date: 2007-08-08 04:28 am (UTC)Hmm. I want it on my wall pretty badly, but I have shaky hands so I doubt I'd do a good job of removing it. So I'm not willing to risk it. :|
Y!J Auctions are ridiculously stressful. But maybe that's just because the only one I ever did was for the D-Stage ticket and I was so desperate to get it. I go to K-Books at least once a month anyway and I'll be going next Wednesday most likely, so I'll have a look.
Yes, I got my paypal worked out. But I can't remember what it was that I got you again. ^^;; Just the one photoset?

Date: 2007-08-08 05:07 am (UTC)That sucks. :( Maybe you could find someone to get it out for you? Although I probably wouldn't have trusted anyone else with mine...
They are rather stressful, even with small things; trying to get a ticket would be horrible, I'd think. And okay, thank you so much!! ♥♥♥
Yep, just Kaji's AirGear photoset. My Paypal's at miraikaede@gmail.com, if you want to send me an invoice~

Date: 2007-08-08 05:28 am (UTC)I'll probably just leave it for now. My posters keep falling off the wall with te humidity anyway so I don't want to damage it.
I swear for the entire month I tried to get that ticket it was all I thought about. ^^;; And then I ended up getting a Shirota ticket without even realising it. :| Thank god for toujitsuken. XD And you're very welcome, it's no problem at all since I'll be going there anyway.
Am too lazy to log into paypal right now, but if I was to invoice you it would be for 600Yen for the photoset and I think about 200Yen for postage? I think that's about right. And my paypal email is momochanshampuu@yahoo.co.uk

Date: 2007-08-13 08:56 pm (UTC)And sorry for the late reply, but I wanted to wait until I had sent the payment, which I have now, so let me know if you got it!

Date: 2007-08-06 01:34 pm (UTC)And yes, this latest photoset looks just wonderful! I can't wait for it to come in! If you didn't get a chance to order a set yet, I'd second
I wrote a letter, and sent it, and immediately wished I hadn't. It's in English, since I don't know enough Japanese to say what I wanted, and it probably won't even make it, and just - yeah. But, this is his last Myu, so I guess making a fool of myself isn't that bad, since I was just trying to show support and encouragement. I hope!
Did your BAS cd ever come in?

Date: 2007-08-08 04:44 am (UTC)I'll definitely get one, one way or another. I didn't get his RokkakuMyu set until months and months after the performance, so I'm definitely not giving up hope ♥
Don't wish that you hadn't! It's the thought that counts, and I'm sure all the boys love when their foreign fans take the time to send them a letter, even if it's not in Japanese. Besides, at least writing it in English, you don't run the risk of making a HUGE GLARING MISTAKE in your Japanese! Because that's not fun. At all.
And yes, it did! And it's lovely. ♥

Date: 2007-08-09 02:45 pm (UTC)...That - would really suck. I'm hoping that most of those awful shirts are just worn because he's inordinately fond of DOARAT, and simply doesn't think about what the shirt says/implies. Because I know at least one of those shirts did have the DOARAT name (logo?) on it...
Good luck, then! I've been trying to get his RokkakuMyu photoset pretty much since I found out about TeniMyu, as it's the only one I don't have, and I've only seen it on Y!Japan twice. Unfortunately, both times the bidding went too high for me...
You're so sweet. ♥ I just feel a little silly sending something off to someone who won't actually understand a word I've written. But you know, even with a "HUGE GLARING MISTAKE!!", I'm willing to bet they'd be pretty impressed with a foreign fan actually writing them in Japanese. ^_^
Isn't it? I'm in love with Long and Winding Road, even though it makes me sniffle every time I listen to it because Graduation, and just... And Takki's lyrics in Golden Smile? I don't know if he wrote as Oishi to Eiji, or as himself to Seto, but either way, it's far more touching than any pop-ish song has any right to be!

Date: 2007-08-13 09:07 pm (UTC)Me too. And yeah, the apple shirt, at least, says DOARAT on it. Still, it's a clothing store, he has better options. :(
Ahh, you have the DL4th one? Lucky~ I don't think I've seen anyone selling them for less than about $15, and that's more than I'm willing to pay for a photoset right now. Good luck on getting the RokkakuMyu one!
I'm willing to bet they'd be pretty impressed with a foreign fan actually writing them in Japanese.
Apparently not impressed enough to actually respond...*pout* Also, if you ever want to send another letter, I can help you out with the Japanese, if you'd like. I'm not anywhere near fluent, but I'll do my best ♥
I don't know if he wrote as Oishi to Eiji, or as himself to Seto
I don't know if there's really much of a difference to TakiYuki. :D All three of those new songs are just filled with GP love, it makes me happy ♥ The first time I listened to them, "Answer" was immediately my favorite. I've liked the other two more and more the more I hear them, but I still like "Answer" the best. ♥ I tried translating it, and I've got most of it, I think, but there are a few lines I had trouble with. The song is so very Eiji, though, I love it :D

Date: 2007-08-06 02:19 pm (UTC)I think you should send that letter anyway! I do! ^__^ The way I see it, I don't care how popular you are, or how confident you are, it never, ever hurts to know that there are people out there who consider you, and what you do, important.
*feels a bit like a hypocrite now, for talking herself out of writing letters so many times... XD*

Date: 2007-08-08 04:57 am (UTC)I am still planning on sending a letter, I just keep forgetting. And I don't know if it'll get there before they go on the road, but it doesn't hurt to try! I just wish it didn't take so long, figuring out what I want to say, what I can say, then translating it all, and writing it all out, with kanji I don't know...if I could just write to him in English, I'd be having to stop myself from sending a letter every week. :D

Date: 2007-08-06 04:00 pm (UTC)I definitely have to agree with you about the wet hair pic. He looks really good in it. I also like how he's been sneaking TakiYuki into the background of some of his pics. It would be better if he was up closer but at least he finally posted some pics with him in them.
I noticed the pinky ring too but I didn't realise it had been on different hands each time. I wonder if he has 2 or just can't make up his mind which hand he likes it on best.
I haven't really attempted too hard to get Araki or Zukki's posters out because I'm to afraid of ripping them. Are you getting your Seto and Tomo poster laminated too? I miss seeing that one everyday lol.

Date: 2007-08-08 05:01 am (UTC)*nodnod* And yeah, the sneak!TakiYuki shots are pretty cool :D Maybe by the end of it he'll finally post a decent picture of the two of them.
*giggle* I wouldn't doubt he's just trying it on both hands to see which one he likes best :D
I was afraid too, but I'm glad I took it out, it's such a wonderful picture and I'm going to love having it on my wall ♥ And of course I got that one laminated! And that other D-Boys poster I have. I just need to figure out some way to cover up Araki on it...

Date: 2007-08-08 05:23 am (UTC)Shame, Shame! That's ok cause if I can ever get mine out he'll have a poster all to himself :P
Oh and I have ep 13 of Happy Boys. Whenever you want it just let me know.
