rensahannouToday in Japanese we received our assignment for our final writing composition of the semester. This is what the instructions say:
あなたの好きな有名人について書いてください。
For those who can't read it, that says "Please write about your favorite celebrity."
It took me the whole semester, but I FINALLY GET TO TALK ABOUT TUTI FOR A CLASS. :D
We have to write at least three pages (of the funny paper with the boxes), but I think for once that won't be a problem. The hard part will be not mentioning Nagayan... ♥
And with this, I'll be more or less disappearing for the next week or so. I have a project and a presentation and a paper and tons of Japanese stuff to work on and study for (the JLPT is this weekend, ahhhh), so fandom-stuff will have to be put on hold for a while. :(
Well, I'll still be checking things every once in awhile, just to make sure no one, like, comes out or anything. But I have to ignore the GP Fortnight for a little while, including the ones I missed over Thanksgiving. *sniffle* But, then I have RokkakuMyu to look forward to when I'm done with everything~

Date: 2006-11-28 01:33 am (UTC)If I have the time, though, I might write two of these things. Mainly because writing about how Nagayan is an actor and a singer and a clothing designer and the cutest thing since forever in Japanese just seems like a lot of fun. :D
Writing about either one of them is going to require looking up a lot of new vocabulary, though, I think. Hmm... *wonders if there's a Japanese equivalent to "dork"*

XDD It seems like if ever there was a language that would have a word for that, it would be Japanese. ^_______^ And "dork" too. Hmm. Bakabakashiiii~? I have no idea. XD;

Date: 2006-11-28 05:31 pm (UTC)Ah! The collab!! That's an awesome idea, thank you. ♥ Haha, although it is rather scandalous if you've been in the fandom for any length of time. ;) (And Tuti designing clothes is kind of scandalous to begin with...) My teacher won't know that, though. :D
There should be a word for that. Japanese has words for all kinds of crazy things~ Hmm, and I guess "bakabakashii" could work for "dork," with the right tone of voice. Someone needs to just introduce the word "dork" into the Japanese language; I think they could probably get a lot of use out of it. :D

Especially if you're talking about Tuti, and the myus, you could just segue into mentioning that he's designed clothes with his stage partner from that time, etc. :D
*laughs* Dork is a word that every Japanese actor could use in their daily lives, this is true. ♥
