analineblue's insistance, I'm posting this little TutixNagayan ficlet ('cause it's too long to be a drabble, really) I wrote a couple nights ago. After some editing, I don't dislike it as much as I did when I wrote it, but I still don't think it's very good.
Title: Uh...knew I was forgetting something..."Interruption." There we go.

Notes:
The first TxN thing I've written... It was inspired partly by the fact that we never found out whether Tuti went to Nagayan's second live, and mostly by how some of Nagayan's songs make me feel -- I can only imagine what they must do to Tuti. I've had the idea for a couple months now, I guess, and actually originally imagined it more as a comic than a fic, but like that was ever going to happen. Anyway, its main purpose was to amuse me, so take it in that context. ♥
Also, referring to Nagayan as "Takashi" is really weird.

Interruption
“Shiawase no katachi wa sugu soba ni atte…”
Tuti smiled – Takashi was singing again. His second live was coming up soon, and he’d been randomly breaking into song for a while now, practicing.
The singing got louder, and Tuti turned around as Takashi entered the kitchen, completely ignoring the unusual sight of Tuti cooking and instead heading straight for the refrigerator, caught up in his song. Smile still on his face, Tuti watched him as he opened the door and pulled out a bottle of the Starbucks drinks Tuti always kept on hand for him. Takashi let the door close and leaned against the counter, slowly and absentmindedly opening the bottle.
“…Kono nukumori wa kawaranai mono…”
Hearing Takashi sing always made Tuti want to kiss him. So he did.
Two long steps and he had crossed the short distance between them, and had his lips pressed against Takashi’s mouth before the bottle ever had a chance to meet it. Takashi reacted quickly and skillfully; Tuti could feel him reaching around to put the cap back on the bottle even as he responded to the kiss. Their lips moved together familiarly, and soon Tuti’s tongue found its way inside Takashi’s mouth and ran lightly along the rough edge of his teeth. Tuti made a small sound at the sensation, and felt Takashi grin in response. Fingers started grabbing at the bottom of his shirt, and Tuti had just wondered if they should maybe move this into another room when suddenly something cold and hard and cold was pressed against his lower back.
Tuti yelped and jumped to the side, looking down at Takashi with his mouth open in mock-indignation. “What was that for?”
Takashi looked up, eyebrows raised. “You’re unbelievable, Tuti. You react like that from me just singing in the kitchen, and you still expect to come to my live?”
Tuti grinned. “Well, I can’t help it. And it’s not fair that you won’t let me come.”
“I think you running up on the stage and grabbing me in the middle of a performance might cause a few problems,” Takashi countered. He took the cap off of his bottle again and took a drink.
“Well, you could always let me be a guest. I don’t have this problem when we’re on stage together…”
Takashi scoffed lightly. “Yeah right. The fans would be having heart attacks in the aisles.”
Tuti considered this as he watched the way Takashi’s lips moved as he took another drink. “Hmm…” he said, beginning to plan the best way of getting the bottle away from the other man before he kissed him again, “I dunno…I think it’d be worth it.”
Takashi pulled the bottle away from his mouth and looked Tuti in the eyes, no sign of humor anywhere on his face. “That’s horrible, Tuti,” he said disapprovingly. “I can’t believe you would even say something like that.” He turned and walked towards the doorway, shaking his head slightly.
Tuti blinked after him, not sure what had just happened. Takashi had been joking, right? Tuti had heard him say way worse stuff before, so he couldn’t have been serious…could he?
“T – Takashi? Takashi–!” Tuti took a step to go after him, but stopped at a loud, unhappy noise coming from the stove. As he rushed to salvage their dinner, he was sure he heard a familiar snickering. “Takashi…” He saw a hand reach back to wave at him as the other man left the room…and then heard the next line of the song.
“Ikite yuku koto kawatte yuku nichijou…”
Tuti’s eyes widened, and he laughed, yelling towards the doorway, “You – you damn tease!”
The singing got louder, and Tuti wondered how important it really was for them to eat dinner that night.
